Post hier alle performance info & vragen over B-Series motoren. Te vinden in onder andere Integra, Civic (vti) (ek4, ek9, eg6,eg9), crx (ee8, ee9), del sol (vti)

Hey,

zoals sommige miss al weten heb ik de Civic EE9 van CyRaX gekocht..
nu heb ik een vraagje hieromtrend (en misschien in de toekomst nog wat meer) :lol:

nu, er zit een B16a motor in, maar ik vraag me af of er uiterlijke kenmerken zijn waaraan ik kan zien of het een B16a SIR-I of SIR-II is??
(SIR-I=160pk en SIR-II=170pk, toch?) verbeter mij als ik het verkeerd heb...

het enige verschil is dat deze meer compressie hebben dan een B16A1? dus aan de buitenkant is verder alles identiek aan een B16A1 motor? grootte van de holtes van de inlaat en uitlaat enz...?
(dus moest ik bijvoorbeeld een catback bestellen, kan ik dit gewoon doen voor een B16A1?)

    Ik meen me te herinneren dat die uit een JDM EK4 met ±45K gelopen komt.. Ik heb daar hier de ontsteking en alternator nog van liggen. Hij zal dus de ontsteking/alternator en dergelijke hebben vervangen om zo zijn obd0 bekabeling en ecu te kunnen gebruiken

    het idee doet ook al veel.. :D

    bij m'n b16a2's wist ik gewoon dat ze standaard al ok waren, maar deze is een raadsel voor mij..
    sommige sites zeggen dat een B16A meer compressie maakt en meer pk heeft en net zei iemand hier nog dat ze een andere mapping hebben dan een b16a1..
    krijg er kop noch staart aan.. wil gewoon dat de basis optimaal is anders pieker ik er toch maar over
    (en zeg nu zelf, als jij mocht kiezen 1pk meer of 1pk minder...) :p

    Begrijpelijk! Neem eens contact op met Leo Van Drie en/of Martijn v Bekerom.. Zij gaan u daar beter op kunnen antwoorden dan wie dan ook :goed:

    Een B16a Sir 1 heeft 160pk. Uiterlijk verschillende kenmerken: er staat b16A op ipv b16a1 ofzo. Op het kleppendeksel is bij mijn weten DOHC standaard in het grote lettertype en bij de b16a sir 2 is dit VTEC in het groot. ( kleppendeksels kun je welliswaar makkelijk verwisselen dus is geen garantie...)

    De b16a sir 1 is vergelijkbaar met de b16a1 en heeft dus enkele klepveren op de uitlaat. De b16a sir 2 heeft bij mijn weten dubbele klepveren op de in- en uitlaatkant.

    B16a sir 1 rijdt op obd0 en b16a sir 2 rijdt op obd1.

    Voor de rest geloof ik dat b16a jdm motoren ene hogere compressie hebben dan een b16a1. Echter zal het geen 10 pk schelen maar minder omwille van het hogere octaan in japan.
