Got one side done, should be doing the other side on Thursday.
I'm gonna try to be as honest as I can, no DIY yet, but if by reading you can't do it, then you shouldn't attempt this. Again, this is the method that we used tonight and it worked.
1. Remove the wheel
2. Remove the brake caliper (there's 2 bolts that hold the caliper and 2 other bolts that hold the frame/guide or whatever it's called)
3. Remove the bolt that holds the brake line (located right behind the rotor)
4. We used an air hammer to pull out the old stud. If you don't have an air hammer, then use a regular hammer, just be careful not to damage the rotor.
5. The old stud should come out fairly easy without having to remove anything else. If you can't, the dust shield can be bent (you'll see this when removing/inserting the stud)
6. If the old stud went out without a problem, putting the new one in will take a little bit more effort. You'll see that the head of the stud gets caught in the dust shield, which is fairly easy to bend in order to put the stud back in.
7. Put the stud through and with a thick washer or a few washers, use a **GOOD** lug nut and tighten it
If you can remove the brake caliper, then this is fairly easy. If you don't know how to remove the brake caliper, then this might not be for you
