Ik hoop dat iemand hier me kan helpen.
Dit is nu al de 5e keer dat ik mijn ontsteking open doe om te proberen de rotor te vervangen, maar ik zie niet hoe ik deze er af krijg.
Overal op internet lees ik dat het gewoon het boutje los draaien is, en zo heb ik het vroeger ook al gedaan, maar bij deze ontsteking zit dit boutje niet.
Het gaat om een originele EG6 ontsteking TD-44U.
In de nieuwe rotor zit het gat voor het boutje wel.





Iemand een idee?

Vastgelijmt? Wat scheelt aan de ontsteking btw?

"Believe it or not, my JDM sir 2 distributor (off the vehicle by the way) came with a push in rotor. The push in rotor has no opening for the insertion of a screw, although the distributor does have the screw insertion holes. No screw was holding it in place...I found this very strange. I assumed this had something to do with JDM rotors. I had to use a puller to remove the rotor since it was stuck tight to the distributor. I think it was hammered in....."

Gelijmd of geperst denk ik ook. Auto start heel slecht als hij een tijd stil gestaan heeft. Ik heb alles al vervangen, behalve de rotor van de distributie.
Dus hopen dat dat het is.

Ah voila, dat is eigenlijk het antwoord dat ik zocht. Morgen eens kijken of ik iets heb om hem er af te trekken.
Toch een beetje schrik om de originele ontsteking te beschadigen.
